Remember what they say: no pain, no gain.
So you may ask, what are its effects on the stomach? Hot chilies are actually responsible in decreasing the output of gastric acid. They can also restrain the stomach bleeding that can be associated with taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents such as Aspirin. Want to know more? A recent study in Singapore found out that eating chilies daily reduces the risk of peptic ulcers by 53 percent.
Two studies from Australia provided the good news that adding chilies to meals may protect against the buildup of cholesterol in the blood. Regularly eating hot chilies reduces insulin requirements, which are giving hints in the prevention and treatment of diabetes.

Soy “beef” makes it look as hearty as “real” chili with decent taste. The beans are perfectly cooked, and the sauce is greatly competent. It is not as thick as tomato paste, or thin as broth. This chili is best to have with grated vegan cheese, onions and a side of bread.
Although this vegan chili is labelled spicy, it also has a bit of sweet taste to it. It’s like someone was worried they are serving too spicy dish, so they make it a bit sweeter. It may not be a top-notch for spicy chili lovers, but it does not taste that bad.
According to some reviews, it is quite good for a canned chili. It is at least good as any other canned brand. The content is fairly low in fat and lacks oil that is usually associated with canned chili. Although it has a slightly high amount of sodium, the taste is still quite good. The “meat” is ground and comes in larger chunks.
