Vegan Cauliflower Steak with Wild Mushroom Sauce.
If you love cauliflower you will love this recipe. In fact we have a family member in our house who isn’t really a big fan of cauliflower but he actually loves this recipe too!

Vegan Cauliflower Steak with Wild Mushrooms Sauce
Servings: 4 people
Ingredients
- 1 head Cauliflower
- 2 tbsp Coconut Oil
- Salt and Pepper to Taste
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
Mushroom Sauce
- 1 tbsp Coconut Oil
- 1 1/2 cups Wild Mushrooms
- 1/4 cup Unsweetened Coconut Cream
- 4 oz Silken Tofu
- 2 cloves garlic
- Salt and Pepper to Taste
Instructions
- Heat oven to 400F.
- Remove leaves from cauliflower and cut into four steaks.
- Melt coconut oil in a microwave. Brush the cauliflower steaks with coconut oil, and sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Transfer the steaks onto baking sheet and roast 20 minutes or until tender.
- In the meantime, make the sauce; puree tofu and coconut cream in a blender.
- Heat coconut oil into a skillet. Add mushrooms and cook 4 minutes.
- Add garlic and cook 1 minute.
- Add tofu blend and simmer 2 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and puree with immersion blender.
- Serve cauliflower steak with mushrooms sauce.
